Categories Comments Am enjoying being here Campus live is amazing! You gain freedom, and so many friends on campus. There are many activities provided for students on campus to help you get really close to many other students.
Am learning a lot Professors are extremely helpful, and are available to help whenever you need them!

Categories Comments Great for these types of students Students who love a small college and want to get a lot of one-on-one time with their professors when they need it. Limestone is also great for athletes.
Tips for prospective students Find out who your advisor is when you get here and stay in touch with him or her regularly. Also, don't get behind on your work because it is very, very, very hard to get caught back up. Take advantage of all the free tutoring and office hours. Enjoy Limestone.
Bang for the buck Though slightly expensive, you are getting an education you pay for. Great professors, nice people in the administrative people, free stuff, on campus activities, and experiencing meeting people from all over the country who play different sports. President Griffin even knows his students names and he recognizes them on campus. Limestone is a great school. Also, athletes have a great advantage. There are lots of fields for practice, a great strength and conditioning staff, great coaches and also great teammates.
Am enjoying being here I love it here. It's a small campus, which means you can get everywhere within 5 minutes. The campus is beautiful and filled with a lot of history. Limestone is a very athletic school, and you get to bond with so many athletes from all over the country.
Am learning a lot The professors here are great. They know what they are talking about in lecture, and they offer plenty of flexible office hours when you don't understand something. Some professors even stay on campus late in the evening to offer office hours. The classes are relatively small compared to large universities, so you get more interactions with the professor other than just listening to someone talk the whole class.

What to do for fun There isn't a lot to do for fun on campus, but on fridays nights there is late night limestone.There is always some kind of sporting event going.
Academic Rigor Academics are placed very high.
Tips for prospective students For prospective students I would tell thim, to work as hard as they can. Do not let anything distract them from their school work.
In three sentences Limestone is a very good school to go to. The teachers take pride in helping students. By far its a good college.

Clubs and Activities There are a lot of different choices of clubs and activities to choose from that will not only fit your busy schedule but also your interest.
Great for these types of students Limestone is great for students that are playing sports in college.
Tips for prospective students If you are thinking about attending Limestone College, I would recommend getting involved in something. Whether it be through sports, volunteer work, or clubs.
In three sentences Limestone College is a very personal college. It gives you the opportunity to get to know others, as well as your professors easily. All the while offering a christian atmosphere.

Categories Comments Campus Safety Campus safety patrols the campus regularly and are always there when you need to get into your dorm after forgetting your key.
Greek Life There is no Greek life at Limestone.
Clubs and Activities There are not clubs and activities are rare.
Great for these types of students This college is great for athletes and those who are planning on getting a degree in sports management.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus There is a ping pong table and a pool table in the student center along with some arcade games. Nobody really ever goes there, though.
Bang for the buck For being so small and unreliable, I'd say the tuition, room and board are a little overpriced.
What to do for fun There isn't much going on at the college. It is small and in the middle of nowhere. I recommend having a car so you can go to the Outlet mall and Spartanburg or bring a video game console.
Food and Dining The food is terrible at the cafeteria. The cafe is a better choice because you have more control of what you eat. It's very repetative, though.
Dorm Life If you get the new dorm, you're lucky. Some of the dorms flood and have black outs and aren't the cleanest dorms around.
Academic Rigor The academics at LC are average but the professors are very understanding and supportive of the students.
Tips for prospective students The college isn't really built for students who don't play sports. Also, make sure you have plenty to do because the campus is very boring.
In three sentences Limestone is all about sports. It's a small campus and there isn't much to do. The academics are decent but not exceptional.

Categories Comments Campus Safety Ehh..the security does their job, a little too well. Especially with ticketing for parking in restricted areas. Aleays there to help you get into room if you left your key inside or lost it.
Greek Life The school banned groups like these after an incident hurt someone.
Clubs and Activities There are a lot of activities. Limestone has fairs health fairs coffee houses and student center where you can just chill or play games, music.
Great for these types of students Students who prefer smart to be apart of big campuses. If you want one on one time with teachers so you get the help you need. This school is especially for those who play sports and want to be drafted etc.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus Limestone College fairly private, so you'd probably get the chance to meet everyone by the end of the semester. The cafeteria is next to a quarry, water over what used to a town. It's forbidden to go into because the current can drag you down all the way to the bottom which is very deep.he school is said to be haunted. It used to be an all girls catholic school. On Halloween, the students are taken on a tour of the school and they tell us stories of what all happened there. You can also see figures and hear voices.
What to do for fun Gaffney is a pretty small town, so you would have to go to surrounding areas to go out. But there are nightclubs, restuarants, an outlet mall, the movies, and on Fridays the school have events everyone can enjoy. The sports games are usually entente as well.
Food and Dining Because there are a lot of athletes, the food is mainly appropriate for them. There's a salad bar, sandwich station, pizza/pasta station, savory station, and dessert station. The cafeteria is usually packed, but there is enough room for everyone. The stations also put up facts about the food they're serving, calories etc.
Dorm Life Dormitories used to be hotels so the rooms are fairly big. Boys and girls have separate dorms, there is two twin size beds in every room. There is one coed building for athletes mostly. Every hall has a resident assistant to, of course, assist you when there are problems. Boys can't be in girls dorms after a certain time, vice versa.
Academic Rigor Limestone College makes sure that academics come first before anything. The classroom sizes are small so the teacher has the chance to help every student who needs it. Academics is not taken lightly, you are expected to do well and beyond. The faculty and staff are superior. They make it their mission to help the students as much as they can.
Tips for prospective students If you love sports, this is most definitely the school for you. If you decide to come here, prepare to be challenged academically wise. Limestone plans ton of fun informative events year round, if you decide to come here, attend many as possible, you will enjoy every single one I promise.
In three sentences Limestone College provides the perfect environment for the students who'd prefer not to be on big campuses. The classes are pretty small, which gives the teachers a chance to have one on one time with each student. Not only is Limestone College an academic school, it is also a huge athletics school. The school is always having events, so they keep us busy and close knit.

Categories Comments Clubs and Activities Athletics are a big deal on campus and there is almost always a game or competition going on as well. There are also many clubs people can join and the band/orchestra concerts are very fun to go to.
Food and Dining The food they serve is very good and nutritious. They have plenty of choices. Many of the servers remember you by name and remember your orders as well.
Dorm Life Dorm life is very fun and eventful. There is always something going on and everyone is pretty friendly. The new dorms are less then 2 years old and are very nice.
Academic Rigor The academics are very challenging but rewarding as well. Professors are always willing to help. There are also plenty of places to study and concentrate throughout the day.
In three sentences A very friendly goal orientated campus. Professors and staff are ready to do what it takes to get there students where they want to be. There is a good balance between athletics and academics.

What to do for fun In small town Gaffney there may not see like a lot of things to but you can always find something. There's bowling, shopping, getting food, lots of things. Also, people always throw parties or have people over and everyone is always invited so you always have somewhere to go.
Food and Dining The food is subpar, I'm a vegetarian and sometimes it's hard to eat on campus. I wish the food was fresher and healthier. But they are improving it a lot.
Dorm Life The dorms are extremely nice. Most of them are spacious and have good views. They're also suite style so you only share a bathroom with three other people.
Academic Rigor The academics are all of what you make it. If you want to challenge yourself, there are classes and teachers that will push you. If you just want to get by then you can also do that as well.
Tips for prospective students Make sure this is the school for you because if it's not then it can be difficult to transfer credits out.
In three sentences Limestone is a small school with a big heart. Everyone gets along great and you can walk around comfortably, knowing you have friends all around. The athletics are absolutely amazing and I am proud to on the women's lacrosse team and to be apart of it.
