Categories Comments Great for these types of students The type of students who should attend here should be almost any one. One thing I can say is that it is a very good academic school and it is a junior college so you start off with smaller classes and teachers are more likely to give students one on one time. Also it is a great experience for going away the first year getting the feel off living in dorms, living away from home, and being independent.
Tips for prospective students Always do your homework because once you get behind it is hard to catch up, Join any activity because it will make your college experience better and you will meet new people, Take advantage of all the tutoring and help the college provides it will help you in the long run, Be careful how you spend your money because there are many delicious restaurants around the campus, and when your specific dorm has something going on go to the event to interact with the R.A.'s and the other people through the dorm.
Am learning a lot Students will learn a lot here because there are smaller classes and teachers can help students one on one during or after class. Also there are many tutors in the library that can be signed up for.

Categories Comments Campus Safety Their is always the security people driving around the campus or walking around especially at night so they can provide safety for us. If an altercation happens in a dorm or outside, security will be on it.
What to do for fun The stuff you can do for fun are joining an intramural sports team, join organizations such as rotaract(community volunteering), choir, dance, also they have dates for you to go bowling, since this is a small school, they dont have much to offer. But since you will meet alot of good friends here, you guys can make up your fun.
Food and Dining The food is not that good to be honest. They offer healthy alternatives like fruit and salad but their is not much to choose from. The cafeteria is only open for about 2 hours so you have to make time for you to eat. If you dont eat well thats your luck so, you will have to depend on having food in your room or have money to buy food.
Dorm Life Dorm life is ok except if you get an unruly roomate. The type of people that go to a college makes a difference on the college itself. It doesnt matter what dorm your in whether its a suite or a shared room, your always going to have some student blast music or have a bunch of people over that might irritate you, you cant avoid them. I recommend the suite for people that wants to have the romm for themselves and have their own privacy.
Academic Rigor The teachers here are really helpful. They have tutoring sessions in the library for subjects such as math, english, and you can get one on one help with your teacher if your having trouble in the class. The classes are not that hard but that doesnt mean that you cant do your homework. You have to do your homework because it will give you points and help your grade.
Tips for prospective students Tips for prospective students are go to class, study hard, join organizations because it will help you when you transfer to a University, and get involved.
In three sentences Lincoln College is a small school so basically everybody may know each other here. I would rate it a 5 because this school is not well known school but the credits are transferable and the classes are easy. if you perfer to be in a small town with not alot of people compared to the city, Lincoln College is for you.

Categories Comments Great for these types of students Lincoln is definitely the school for people who really want to go into automotive repair/auto diesel industry because they really do cater to the students needs and try to help them graduate and make sure they really know their trade.
Food and Dining Although the cafe is small it has a little bit of everything a grease monkey would need. Plus there are many restaurants surround the schools campus.
Dorm Life The dorms are a small close knit family, everyone looks out for one another and it's always good to have people who can help with your area of study.
Academic Rigor The classes are very hands on so everything you learn will be things you really know, not just things you looked at in a picture in a book. Plus they allow you to bring in your own car & family members cars to work on in your own time, you just have to reserve a stall and that's great for practice.
Tips for prospective students Definitely take a tour of the campus and the classes to get a sneak peek at the inner workings of the school. And definitely talk to the financial aid department about them helping pay for the tools you'll need for your trade.
In three sentences The campus is very clean and neat and the teachers/staff are immensely helpful and polite. They value me as an important new-coming student and not just another number.
