    I've read reviews talking about 'how expensive' Lindenwood is, and it is true that it is a private school so the tuition is higher than public ones, but it is some of the lowest tuition of any private school in the country and they are quite generous with financial aid for athletics, academics and arts. I'd visit first and talk to them prior to making a decision about LU based on cost alone. I also really liked the fact that the class sizes are so small even for traditionally lecture courses. When I visited Mizzou, I saw a class that was held in what looked like a theater and you would never find that at LU.

    This school is outrageously overpriced because athletics are number one here. For instance, Lindenwood decided to build a brand new football stadium and in return our tuition went up nearly $1000 to pay it off.
