Game room, hall events, socialize, chill in your room, and club events.

There are movies shown on the weekends, and also student concerts on Thursdays. Many people go to the fraternities for parties on weekends, and you can always rent a car for super cheap and go into Portland for the night. Life at Linfield can get pretty dull, so make sure to join some clubs like Outdoor Club which has trips to the beach and mountains on weekends.

There are many clubs to join, IM sports, sports games to watch, Catcab (where local artists/students perform), many functions are put on in ICE auditorium, there is a sand volleyball court, and you can venture off campus into town or even visit Portland or the coast, which isn't too far away!

There are a lot of clubs and community service organizations that you can join at Linfield. There is something to do every weekend so long as you keep your mind open.

Outside of NCAA athletics or IM sports and clubs, McMinnville is located a comfortable distance from both Portland and the Oregon coast. Students also often embrace the historical district in our city where there are wonderful restaurants, shops, and theaters. We are also located in the middle of wine country for any adults over the age of 21.

At Linfield we have tons of events all the time. It could be a movie in ICE or a CatCab. (If you come here you will find out what both of those things are!!) There is always something to do and if you can't find anything you can always go down to third street and walk around and really get the feel for the town!

Linfield offers many activities: the Linfield Activities Board oversees numerous clubs that meet weekly and funds many events for the student body. Frequent trips to cultural hotspots and all sorts of cuisine in the McMinnville or Portland area are a treat as well. The activities fair at the beginning of the year is a great way to get involved.
