Categories Comments Bang for the buck Absolutely, about $5k a semester for a student that lives in Missouri is a great price for great class courses and everything else the college has to offer.
What to do for fun It's a small town, and I have only sen half of it, but there are many clubs and activities around the college campus.
Food and Dining 2 Different areas to eat, with very friendly people who work there. Great selections of food choices to eat.
Dorm Life I will be living off campus, but from what I saw of the Dorms, they are very clean, well maintained, affordable, and a very nice setup for the students to get to know each other.
Academic Rigor The Automotive Technology program is my choice of study. The layout of the course over the semester is pretty straight forward. Sticking to a section at a time with different professional, knowledgeable teachers according to each section.
Tips for prospective students Don't knock any school until you visit. Always ask questions, questions about the town, jobs, local activities etc... Keep up to date on school news.
In three sentences A very under looked technical college with a massive selection of technical occupations. The students are very friendly and hyped to start the school year. The teachers are awesome and look forward to teaching.

Categories Comments Great for these types of students Technical/Vocational
Tips for prospective students You will need a 21 or higher if you don't want to take the compass test. Also you will have to take the Bennett test. This school for a community college has dorms. Its a rarity so apply for them ASAP!
Bang for the buck A+ Students with minor financial aid can pay everything to attend without hardly costing anything.
Will enjoy being here Population of 2,000 people. Very open fielded.
Will learn a lot A&P Licenses with Associates in Applied Sciences.

Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus theres no traditions
Bang for the buck its cheap yea but honestly if im going to spend any ammount of money i would like to come out feeling like i know more than i did when i came in...... not here.
What to do for fun hahahaha sleep.....theres a small river you can go to and fish but if theres anything to do its in jeff city which is about 20 to 30 miles away.
Food and Dining the food sucks. its the same crap every week and its all fried.
Dorm Life the dorms are nice and clean
Academic Rigor the gen ed teachers are great but the instructors suck. my instructor couldnt explain anything in reasonable terms for us students to understand. he either said you get it or you dont.
Tips for prospective students honestly i would fin a better college with more of the college atmosphere. theres no clubs to join and nothing in town to do.
In three sentences linn state technical college was extremely boring. theres nothing to do and its difficult to make friends here. the gen ed teachers are great but the instructors are horrible.
