The food is okay but you get used to it. Everything is either vegan or vegetarian on campus. There are four different places you can go to eat on campus.

The school does not provide school--it does not have meal plans that you can sign up for. There are place to eat nearby, such as the hospital's cafeteria, a cafeteria in the bookstore, or other small shops around. Students must provide their own meals.

All the food at LLU is great! If you want meat you have to leave campus however, the food is so good meat is not missed. This is one of the few places where 'vegetarian' does not mean salad.

since llu is a seventh day adventist institution, all of the food and dining options are vegetarian and healthy. there are many delicious options available in the student cafeteria and cafes on campus. the university-affiliated grocery store, loma linda market, also provides a vast selection of fresh, healthy foods and locally-grown produce. the only downside is that these establishments close around 6 or 7 pm and are not open on saturday. nearby off-campus dining options include several asian restaurants, panera bread, bj's and some fast-food chains.
