I was planning on going straight to a four year university right after graduating from high school but life had its way (this time) and I, not to happily, applied to go to LBCC. Now a student I can honestly say this school turned my frown upside down and the teachers are so sweet and helpful. I'm learning a lot more than I expected to and, yes, you get your money's worth and more!!

Long Beach City College classes are not as easy as one may think. The professors are just as hard as any universities with the amount of work and dedication they put into their students. Even though it's a community college, it should not be treated as inferior to those other universities.

Long Beach City College employs top notch instructors, teachers, and professors from all walks of life to make the learning experience of students more fun and exciting. Though campuses are always under intense renovations, it does little to hinder the academic success of students.

Long Beach City College is one of the top community colleges for transfer in Southern California. They offer so many help options in almost all courses but mainly math, English, and history. Long Beach City College also has many professors who have masters degrees and conduct their classes as professors at a university would.

    1) Long Beach City College is often abbreviated LBCC is a very open campus that features a second campus ( Pacific Coast Campus). 2) LBCC is currently going through innovations and finishing new projects, creating a relaxed modern look to the campus, where one can obtain one's desired field of studies, while catching a breather between classes. 3) LBCC is conveniently located near Heartwell Park where many students go to relax and even fit a quick workout.

LBCC is a large campus, wich can be confusing. There is a large selection of classes available every semester and students are generally friendly and able to help with questions. I would recommend LBCC 100%.

Long Beach City College has 2 campuses located in the East of Long Beach called PCC, another campus located in Lakewood called LAC. I love the LAC campus way better, it's bigger, remodeled, basically a bigger and more roomed school. I love the experience being there and how helpful all the staff members can be!

A place to strive you're career and explore options. Slowly but surely major improvement to both campuses in terms of school's environments and atmospheres. Where learning starts and takes up for a challenge without hesitations.

I would rate it five stars, if I had to describe the school in three words it would be dependable, flexible, and resourceful. I was really nervous my first year attending college I thought it would be intimadating, and too challenging. Fortunatley this college isn't the work you put in it is what you get out, the professors really help to the ones that show their not their to waste their time and your willing to work from day one.
