Categories Comments Great for these types of students LIU has excellent teaching, MBA and psychology degree options. LIU allows you to attend part time, which is a big help for returning adults.
Tips for prospective students Research and know what you want to accomplish in a graduate program. It took me 2 years to finally decide and move forward. The economy makes people anxious and by making decisions in a panic mode will only cause more grief in the long run. Grad school is very expensive. Know your goals 5 years, 10 years and 20 years down the road!
Bang for the buck As a graduate school, their rates are comparable. They are not the most expensive, but certainly not cheap.
Will enjoy being here I'm so excited by this opportunity, I can't put it into words!
Will learn a lot I have been researching LIU for some time and just enrolled. Last night, I went to orientation. As a graduate campus, they were precise, organized, very accommodating and helpful. The orientation went quickly and we were in and out in approximately an hour and a half. I completed everything and am ready to start in 2 weeks!
