LAVC is a diverse College, people and courses. The campus is quite easy to navigate around - including the students and staff that are always willing to lend a hand. Finally, as a student in the art department, I would like to praise LAVC doing a wonderful job (even in today's economy) by keeping the art building, art staff, as well as staff and student resources up to date.

A mixture of some of the most unconventionally amazing professors and an intimate campus that has a ton of little gems. One of the top Speech & Debate teams in the nation and a very driven student body.

It is a small college with some great teachers. It is open and you can get to any class in time. The parking situation is not great but it is sustainable.

Los Angeles Valley College is a nice small campus. The students there are polite, helpful, friendly, smart. Not only are the students helpful but the faculty and staff as well, the sheriffs riding around campus will sometimes offer a ride if they see you are in a hurry.

You're there to build up your GPA and transfer out to a better school. If you do your due diligence and you talk to a counselor, you're likely going to wind up at a UC or CSU. It's also very cheap, with quite a bit of variety in courses.
