    My biggest tip is that you see a counselor and create an academic map of what classes you need to complete. You should also look into scholarships as well.

    Definitely meet with a counselor to make a roadmap for your plans whether it be transferring or get a certificate from Los Medanos College. Stay on top of due dates and do not loose focus of what you want to accomplish while attending, otherwise you will end up being there longer than you planned on.

    - Visit a counselor and create an academic plan because classes fill up fast and its better to know what classes you need to take ahead of time. - Because the campus is already so small and is a commuter campus, it is important to become involved in at least one learning community or club on campus, so that you can find students with similar interests and network with them.
