Around Town

There are always events, concerts, parties and get together going on.

LSU Football and Baseball games are like anything. The SEC is so competitive!

Plan board game nights with friends, come to department sponsored movie nights, keep up with events planned by student government (Grooving on the Grounds, SplatterBeat, Snowing in the South).

'Groovin' On the Grounds' is a free concert every spring semester, and during fall football games are a must-see.

Going to games and attending activities that the school does is always fun! There are always so many things going on at once with so many organizations on campus.

Being at LSU, there is ALWAYS something to do. There are more clubs and organizations on LSU campus than you can count. Whether it be the Rowing team, Academic clubs, or the Quidditch team (my personal favorite), LSU offers hundreds of ways to get involved and have fun. Also, there is a HUGE Recreation center that offers tennis, basketball, weight lifting, a swimming pool, rock climbing wall, racquetball, and basically anything you can think of. And last but certainly NOT least, Tigerland is just a short drive away!

This is where you need to be careful. There are TOO may things to do for fun on campus and in the area... DO NOT try to do them ALL!

There are always events going on around campus and greek life enhances the college. New Orleans isn't too far away from Baton Rouge (about 1 hour) and has a lot of tourist attractions. In baton rouge, there's pretty much just the movies, dining out, and shopping to do.

LSU has plenty of events for student to do to have fun.Their is always something entertaining for students to do when they are out here.

My dorm is so knowledgeable about what is going on around campus so there are flyers about all the different sporting events, speakers, and fun things so I go to those events.
