    The price of tuition has been increased almost every semester since I've been at LSU while course availability has dropped and faculty has been cut.

    Because LSU is a public school, you are certainly going to pay a lot less here than you would at a Private institution. Although, if you are looking to get an off campus apartment, you might be paying a little more than you would on campus, but that's not LSU's fault. Books can get a little pricey, but that's also the same for other schools.
