I'm one of the few Nanosystems Engineering students here, a new major that was established in 2005. Louisiana Tech was the first college to offer a nanotechnology-based undergraduate degree.

    Louisiana Tech University is like a family. The school isn't too big or small so you're classes aren't as big. Not having huge classes is better for a person to connect with the professor more.

    I feel that Louisiana Tech University is a great college to attend whether you are or are not from the Rustin, Louisiana area you will still feel like you are at home. If I had to rate this school on a scale from 1-10, 10 being the best, I would choose a 9.5!

    The classes are small with some truly excellent teachers. I love my advisers and the advising process at this school. Seated in the city of Ruston, a rapidly growing city that still has a small town feel.

    Faculty and staff are very friendly and helpful in assisting students at LA Tech. They make sure you have everything that you might need. If you have any questions or concerns you can easily call and make appointment or just visit their office.

    The campus is very beautiful and there are clubs and activities to fix anything person's interest. The computer system is a little out of date as far as I can see. And the teachers and advisers are very help full.
