Switch to the Purple line off Howard to visit Downtown Evanston for shopping, a movie theatre, a Whole Foods, bakeries and more. Visit Belmont for the best restaurants and small places to find treasures in. It is a stop full of life and art. Pass the Loop and visit Chinatown for a whole new experience. There is so much to do! Even if you don't want to go on the train, DOP hosts so many events for students like showing movies in our theatre and concerts. There is a brand new rock climbing wall. There is never a boring moment at Loyola.

» Read MoreFor fun most students go to the Damen Student center that just opened up this year. It is a great place to hangout, play video games, watch TV, or just hang out. Also since the beach is right there, many students will go for a swim or just take in the ambiance of the scenery. Once they take a nice walk all that is left is taking a shuttle to downtown and having a night of fun with friends.

» Read MoreThe newly opened Damen Student Center has Wiis, Xboxes and Playstations for rent as well as pool, a movie theater, a food court, and other fun stuff. There are free movies on campus at least once a week. Once you're twenty-one apparently there's a decent bar life around campus as well but it's low-key enough that younger students don't notice it.
