    Be friendly. Be open to trying different organizations. Utilize on-campus resources such as, the WAC Lab (Writing Across the Curriculum), the mathematics center and ARC (Academic Resource Center). Go to office hours and get to know your professors. The professor to student ratio is small for a reason. Lastly, work hard and enjoy yourself.
