Join clubs (there are many) Support friends in sports activities

There is usually something going on during the weekends, just gotta know where to look.

-Varsity Sports (over 84% of LC students are involved in some kind of club/sport) -Clubs -Community Service -The Dell -Shellenburger Field -Hiking/Biking trails around campus -Various sports facilities -Low-cost movie theater less than 5-minutes off campus

There are many clubs, sports, and organizations to get involved in on campus. In addition, there are events almost always going on, be it on the dell, Dillard Fine Arts center, or in the residence halls.

Not a lot off campus, there is a movie theater, bowling, shopping, rollerblading and lazer tag. On campus organizations try to find things to do such as games and events to make as many activities as possible.

There are so many clubs, organizations, and sports (both competition and intramural) to do on campus. The RA's host various activites for First-Year students. Also, there are weekly Walmart trips. :)

Get involved!!! Volunteer, join a club, or go to a game. And, don't be afraid to try something new!

There are a ridiculous amount of activities to do at LC. The groups range from LGBT to a Green Thumb club. Students can become part of the government on campus, and there are academic trips made off campus such as the ethics bowl many philosophy majors participate in. There is a lake near the school and although we can't swim in it it is nice to sit out there on the dock and read a good book or go jogging on the trail.

Lynchburg is a very quaint city where less is more. There is a mall, movies, many restaurants, swimming areas, etc. Mostly its beautiful hills where you can hike and hang out with friends outdoors.

Rock climbing, canoeing,, there is an outdoor leadership program that takes you around the area and shows you what there is to do and see.
