All of my classes are at the downtown campus, so I can't speak for everywhere, but all of the faculty who I have interacted with have all been extremely helpful and nice. My fellow students are pretty nice too. The downtown campus is conveniently located only a few blocks from my apartment, which is wonderful. Walkers beware though, there are some crosswalks where cars just never stop for you. Leave with plenty of time to get stopped for a few minutes by traffic. Although I enrolled at MATC with the ultimate purpose of transferring, I am enjoying my time here so far.

They are expanding throughout the Madison area, so there are quite a few campuses. The city is very livable although the downtown area can be busy at times. The nice thing about MATC is that it the campuses are in the heart of the city so it may feel like you are attending UW-Madison.
