    Make sure you are comfortable with a small school. Most students who leave do so because they don't like the size of MU. If you don't mind a small private school, the opportunities are great (and I promise this school can offer you everything and more big schools do, besides parties).

    Don't be afraid to approach your professors, they are all super nice and are willing to work with you. Also, you need to get involved early so you can meet new people!

    Don't be let down by the small school feel. There are plenty of largely populated schools nearby to visit friends and get that experience too. Marian has the feeling of home. It is expensive since Marian is a private school so apply for as many scholarships as possible. It's worth it in the end. Marian also has free tutors, so if one has trouble with class he or she only has to sign up for a tutor for help.
