It is a private school so it can be expensive. Be prepared for tuition to go up every year. But almost all students receive some sort of aid -- I don't know a single person who paid full tuition for school. You would be surprised how much money is available for students. I will say this, I have no regrets about the debt I took on to be at Marietta College. I would never do it over differently.

Involving yourself in activities on campus is critical to not feel the hit for how many bucks you have to pay. The campus is constantly moving - constantly renovating and building - so in the grand scheme of things, the money comes back to enhance the life on campus and academics that are offered. As tuition was raised this past year, so was a multi-million dollar dorm building with a food service and health center and new parking lot. These kinds of changes are significant and remind us that we are paying quite a bit, but the school is doing good things for the students.
