Around Town

The student government and Late Night Marquette groups bring in tons of different entertainment for us on the weekends - you can never be bored. Also downtown is literally steps off campus and you get an unlimited bus pass so we take advantage of all the fun things there are to do in Downtown Milwaukee.

Intramural sports, bowling, on campus movies, find a favorite spot, some good friends and hang out.

Music. Foo. Bars. Milwaukee is home to many great concert venues that offer a variety of music genres. The restaurants downtown, in the 3rd ward, or near Brady street are excellent. Finally, Milwaukee is known for its brewing tradition. There a tons of bar to go to and fun to be had.

Marquette Student Government organizes Late Night activities every weekend, from comedians to dances to outdoor movies to Humans v. Zombies tournaments and everything in between! The Varsity theater also offers cheap movies every weekend. The Annex is great for socializing during sports events - especially Marquette basketball games!- and also offers bowling and other games. Students can also get off campus and visit places like the Art Museum, the beach, The Safe House, or The Rave club. You will never be bored at Marquette! Staying in and watching movies is always a great option as well - Netflix is a staple!

GO TO A MU BASKETBALL GAME - they're the best. Go to the lakefront; check out the restaurants, get involved in activities.

There are a number of things to do on campus as well as throughout the city. Late Nite Marquette organizes events for students, such as life-size battleship, outdoor movies, and other various activities. Do not forget about watching our sports teams, especially BASKETBALL. Off-campus you can go to concerts at nearby venues such as The Pabst, The Rave, or The Riverside. Exploring new restaurants, parks, and shops is always fun too!

There are a variety of activities to do on campus or in your dorm. But there are always places to go with friends to have fun as well, it depends on what you are interested in doing.
