» Read MoreMarshall has a brand new rec center and students are able to go swimming and rock climbing, and these are very popular activities. There is always something going on. Students can get free tickets for football games, basketball games, and for plays within the Marshall Artist Series. We are within walking distance of downtown Pullman Square Cinemas for movies and a shopping center. There is a lot to do in the Marshall area!

» Read MoreWest Virginia as a whole is an outdoor enthusiast's wonderland. If you are not into the outdoors we live in a small city and there is always something to do locally.
» Read MoreThere is always something going on. There are dozens of clubs and fraternities and sororities, and lots of these groups hold activities on campus. Also, there is an older student living in the dorms with you who organizes activities for their floor. The different colleges bring in various speakers and musicians, and there are several different religious groups that have weekly get-togethers.

» Read MoreGo to the Recreation center (aka The REC). There is a pool, basketball courts, treadmills, a weight room, intramural sports, a track, etc. Take advantage of those. There's plenty of activites on campus. Many of them are made known through emails throughout the campus. Most of all: Game Day! Go Herd!
