Horrible. Hunt Dining Hall (the main food facility) is one of the main things complained about at this school. Most students brave the walk up the mountain to the campus Pub which offers a more palatable variety (if monotonous) of fast food. There is a 100 percent chance that you will order food or spend money down town for something more enjoyably edible. Work-study checks may evaporate in the face of China House, Split Banana ice-cream, and Dominos.

The food at the dining hall is not good. For me personally, I have gotten sick from the food. Go to the Pub, they have different varieties of food that you can take to go or sit and relax either inside or outside to enjoy the nice weather.

Most food is healthy. You won't get dessert here except for ice cream in the warmer months.

Hunt Dining Hall's vegetarian options kind of drop off in the middle of the year. The salad bar is always open thankfully, and their toppings (like sunflower seeds, dried blueberries, pumpkin seeds) change everyday. Their soups are usually quite good. The vegetables are either hit or miss. Usually they're either too salty or not salted at all.

The dining hall serves decent food, however the hours are somewhat restrictive. The food is generally low-calorie, which can be problematic for certain individuals. The dining service seems to be obsessed with healthy eating, which is not particularly good. Overall, the meals are edible, and there is a relatively large variety.

If you are a fan of southern food, you will love the colleges food. We have two dining areas, the main dining hall and the pub. Mary Baldwin prides itself in using fresh, local food. Even if you don't like the food, you can always use the kitchens in each of the dorms.

Since the school is basically a huge sisterhood as it is, there is no Greek life here. However there are academic societies and other programs that you may join.

There is no Greek Life at Mary Baldwin College because it is an all women's college. Many students have attempted to establish sororities; however, the college itself is viewed as one large sorority.
