Most Helpful Review for Mary Baldwin College
  • Category: Am learning a lot

The courses at Mary Baldwin can definitely be challenging. Of course some classes are harder than others and some professors are more helpful than others, but the small class size creates an environment where students can connect with their professors better. General education classes at Mary Baldwin have about twenty students. The ability to connect with fellow students and professors in small classes has been helpful to me because I can follow along to the lectures and ask questions when I need to. I really feel as though I have learned a lot this semester.

I love this college more then I thought I would! It's an all-woman's college, meaning a lot of sisterhood bonds. It is most definitely NOT one of those party colleges, but you can still find yourself distracted when you go to the historical downtown they have here in Staunton.

To be completely honest, Mary Baldwin is a nice institution if you are looking for less of a distraction and a quiet environment to do your studies. Their dorms are not decent and there is no diversity. The library is nice and very helpful.

To be honest, I am used to a large city so I am not really used to the small, vintage environment. Honestly, I am not impressed with the school. The tuition is very expensive.
