Create an account now!Explore the city! The surrounding area (Bolton Hill/Mt Vernon) is really great and college-friendly, and historic. The harbor is kind of touristy but has lots of shops and attractions, and there's a fair amount of museums and sights (aquarium is a must, zoo can be skipped).
» Read MoreThe inner harbor is really close and you can take the free charm city bus! You can also take the Marc train for $7 round trip from Penn station which is in walking distance from MICA to Union Station and get to DC in an hour!!

Mount Vernon has some great restaurants and bars that are fun to frequent, like Turp's, Brewer's Art, and XS. There's also some of Baltimore's greatest amusements, like the National Aquarium, Federal Hill, Hampden, Fell's Point, and the Maryland Zoo.

You can take the light rail which is right on campus down to Camden Yards or Ravens stadium to watch baseball or football or just to go downtown. When you are 21 there are alot of great bars with great beer
