It is important for students coming in to understand that although it is not an extremely difficult school to get into, it is not the easiest to get through! Due to the fact that it is a very small school people get very close to their groups in the beginning of the year so it is important to get involved and meet as many people as possible! Networking is huge in this school.

MCPHS University is a great place for people of all different backgrounds. The professors are always willing to help in and out of the classroom and love seeing their students engaged in class. Never hesitate to ask for help! There are a great number of help sessions for just about every course available on campus, whether that be free peer tutoring sessions, professors' office hours, private tutoring, academic resource counseling, etc.

Don't expect that you are coming to a school with a huge campus, that has the sports life and community aspect of many larger schools. Be open and put yourself out there to join as many clubs to be as involved as you can. College is fun and exciting, stay positive and you will do fine!

Prepare to work and study hard, especially during finals week. We all study a lot, sometimes from 9 am until 11 pm. It is a small school so you will get to know people fast and see a lot of the same students in your classes. Professors are wonderful, know how to teach their students and are available for help.
