Make sure to look up who your teachers are and do a little bit of research, not all of the teachers have the same teaching style. Make sure to keep an open mind, you learn so much more that way!

Use www.ratemyprofessor.com when selecting classes and teachers. Educate yourself on what is required for your degree and the transfer policies for perspective schools if you have any beyond your associates degree. Put an effort to learn from your general education classes and how this influences your personal goals; don't just sit there to get through them.

Make sure you're ready for a more high school-like vibe rather than a college one because it really does feel like you're not going to go through the college experience there. Other than that, make sure to stay in constant contact with your advisors so that you stay on the course you set for yourself.
