There isn't much to do on campus unless you really get involved in busy clubs. Off campus, there are shopping centers and a movie theater as well as historic places to visit downtown.

Bearstock is fun and the Cherry Blossom festival is great. Also there are shopping centers not too far from campus (my favorite is Riverside Crossing) as well as a movie theater. Midnight movie is a MUST for any Mercer student. I mean, $2 for a movie at midnight, it speaks for itself.

Savannah has many events and festivals it hosts throughout the year. Particularly the city's favorite and most popular time of the year is St. Patrick's day when they dye the river green and hundreds of thousands visit over the holiday to celebrate.
