There really is nothing to do for fun...Erie is boring and Mercyhurst isn't in a great location. The bus can take you to the Mall, but the mall doesn't have a wide selection of stores. At Mercyhurst there are always sporting events, but you'll find the school spirit is horrible and not many people attend them unless they have a reason to.

Mercyhurst has so many fun activities going on every weekend. Hypnotists, Festivals, Plays, Musicals, and many other events that are free for students right on campus. Presque beach is relatively close and so is Millcreek Mall! There is a lot of shopping in Erie. It's such a tight knit campus that you could find someone to just hangout in the dorms with even and it's still a blast!

I play water polo so sporting events are always a hit. If you arent sports minded the student government host weekly, free events that are fun. Otherwise the bus, which is free for students, can connect you to downtown and the mall.

There are many different activities in which students can attend. I however need to work full time and have family responsibilities, so plan accordingly.

They have a lot of events going on during the week and on the weekends. The student union has televisions and video systems along with Foosball tables, and it not to far from other city events.
