You want to find a map of the campus and keep it with you. Make friends with your professors, lots of student working opportunities are found through them and Meredith pays nicely the longer you work as a student on campus. Don't be afraid to run of offices on campus, in your admissions essays or interviews be confidant.

    - If you like to get involve in traditions, this is the place for you! - get to know your faculty, they are really flexible and will always help you in their office hours - have priorities. Meredith has a lot of activities going on at all times, but education comes first! - If you live on campus, give the girls you're living with a chance, you are all moving in with strangers for the first time and you all have to learn how to live away from home.

A tip I would give to the incoming students is to use all the resources that Meredith has provided for you. Everyone in the faculty are well versed on where to lead you in the right direction for your future; whether it be a question about a potential major, financial aid, or just asking where to find a classroom, they are ready to help. One facility that was personally very helpful to me was the student learning center. This facility is a place that students can come to get help on any given subject by students who have already taken the course and done really well in it. The tutors are paid through Meredith, so it is of no extra cost to you to come and get help.
