In three sentences
Beautiful school, cheap rent on properties/rooms, low tuition but a great program. Champion Rodeo Team, Wind Energy Research, Iron Pour, plus great support if you need help in your classes. Can't Wait!
Tips for prospective students
Get to know your professors. It's a small school, and it pays to attend lectures and classes. Attendance is part of the grade! Make use of the Student Service Center, they offer tutoring for free.
Academic Rigor
At least for the first year, classes seem fairly simple. But as you climb, so does the level of intensity in your studies and the difficulty of your classes.
Dorm Life
No actual dorms, but plenty of student rate hotels, local cost of living on housing very low and many options are available to students.
Food and Dining
Again, no actual dining hall, but nearly twenty nearby restaurants ranging from chinese and pizza to mexican and fast-food.
What to do for fun
Rodeos, Festivals and Community Activities year around. Three lakes within an hour's drive, golf course, museums, hiking and motor biking areas all around. School hosts frequent functions through student activities.
