Come with an open mind. Your faith will be challenged in unexpected ways as you join the Messiah community. Remember that whatever you bring with you to college, you have to carry to your room - whether that means up stairs, down stairs, down a long hallway, etc., keep that in mind when packing.

Prospective students should talk to a student about Residence Life in comparison to other departments at Messiah, they may be surprised with it's constricting nature. Also, hang out in the student Union and try to talk to a student that isn't your tour guide to ask about the community life-- your tour guide is paid to tell you how wonderful everything is.

My best advise to future students is to pick a college that you love, but also that the college wants you. A college that is truly interested in you being there will do anything while you are there to keep you happy and allow you to be successful. A college that can't even be bother to contact you post-acceptance will not care about you and your success in college.
