Make sure you talk to an advisor so you know exactly what classes you need to be taking. Also, once you know the classes you need to take, go to ratemyprofessor.com and search the professors that you will have. It's good to see how other students rated them and it will help you to get an idea on their teaching style.

Study, study, study, it may be a community college but they will still work you like a regular one. Use the resources they provide. Have fun, make new friends, and just enjoy life.

This is a community college, so no dorms. We nay not have the emotional link of living with each other on campus, but we sure have a community vibe. We know each other. That shy, first day of class feeling goes away once you realize that every one is in a similar situation. Get to know people; make friends. Having people to hang out with and doing things to de-stress is essential to being sucessful at college. Do your best, study, aim high, and pray alot. Make sure to use the restroom at college! There are weekly schedules posted in the stalls that have all of the events and club meeting times, rooms, and days.
