Around Town

MSU offers pretty much any type of activity you are interested in. You can stroll around campus, take a walk to Grand River or even hop the 1 and go down town to see the capital.

For fun you can take a walk, run, or bike ride through campus, hang out with the people on my floor. There is also many different intermural teams to join with friends. You can go to the gym or the café and you can always meet new people at these places too. Sporting events are always fun to go to as well. In the end there is always something to do at MSU.

To meet new friends on campus and just to walk around and admire the environment.

There's always activities and things to do. In the neighborhoods, they have specified events for just residents that live in that area. There's also always sports events, or you can join an IM team or do intramural sports. There's hundreds of clubs, literally for anything you can think of. Always something to do for fun at MSU!

Go fishing in the Grand River, tailgate, go to football games, take advantage of the trails, join one of the many, many clubs offered at MSU. There are many concerts and activities that come to MSU that really add to the fun factor of the school. There is also a decent bar scene if you're of age downtown.

There are a lot of things to do on and off campus! You just need to keep your eyes open!

The options are literally endless.

Grand River Ave is the hot spot for most college students. However, there are always campus wide events that are free to MSU only students.

For fun my friends and I like to go to various sporting events since MSU is a Big 10 School. We go to football, basketball and ice hockey. The atmosphere is awesome, you can get nothing else like it anywhere. We also go down to Grand River and that's where all of the shops are.
