There are very many things that you could do for fun. You have a variety of activities that are funded and hosted by the UAB (University Activities Board) such as the Weekend Cinemas, which shows some of the more popular movies that have done good in theatres recently, for example, 22 Jump Street and Neighbors), Weekly Free Cosmic Bowl, which is free bowling, the annual tailgates before the football games, comedians, concerts, and extra activities that vary depending on what the UAB decides on doing.

There are a ton of clubs to join, campus activities and events to get involved in and meet new people, and with 50,000 students you're sure to make some friends. Sports are obviously a big deal here, and student sections are crazy. For those of you who are age, check out Stober's and Mac's Bar.

There is always a ton of events on campus! There are so many clubs and organizations to join that you could have a meeting every day of the week if you join that many. There is free bowling in our own bowling alley on campus, which is pretty fun even though it's the oldest bowling alley I've ever been to.
