Also, there are so many things to do: hiking, kayaking, swimming, sports, camping, climbing, etc... The Outdoor Adventure Program (OAP) is a fantastic student resource, as they provide multiple trips into nature (hikes, canoeing, camping) and great rates on rental equipment. There are multiple waterfalls to visit and great areas for bon-fires, beach fun and sledding, not to mention our very own Mont Ripley - as a student, the lift ticket is free! There are also great rates on ski/boarding equipment, waxes, tuning, etc. Being an MTU student has so many perks!
