Categories Comments Great for these types of students This college is wonderful for the non-tradional student.
Tips for prospective students Apply early!!! You may not end up attending, but if you apply early, it eliminates being rushed so you can make wise decisions.
Bang for the buck There are many building opportunities. Some programs will transfer credits to the Wisconsin University system to obtain a bachelors degree.
Am enjoying being here The campus is clean and very accomodating.
Am learning a lot The Urban Forestry program is fantastic.

Categories Comments What to do for fun I enjoy being outdoors and studying. The peacefulness really helps my mood.
Food and Dining They have a nice eatery in the WI Rapds area, the Marshfield campus does not offer this, just vending machines.
Dorm Life There is no dorms offered.
Tips for prospective students Call and speak to a MSTC staff person to get a good idea of the college.
In three sentences MSTC is a great college with a wide variety of programs. The staff are very helpfull through the every step of the process. MSTC offers a variety of outside class help as well.

Categories Comments Clubs and Activities They offer a lot of different activities I cant think of them off hand but they are always posted on boards.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus The campus is 2 floors but the campus halls go in all sorts of directions!
Bang for the buck Great price and great education!!!
What to do for fun The college has a nice gymnasium for different activities like basketball,volleyball and bad mitten. There also is areas outside for activities. There is a small fitness room on site as well.
Food and Dining The college has a menu that you can order different foods from. There also is vending on site as well as some grab and go items.
Dorm Life There are not dorms at this location.
Academic Rigor The homework is challenging at points but helps out a lot in the long run.
Tips for prospective students I recommend this college if you want to stay close to home for a good price and great education.
In three sentences It is a great college with many opportunity's. The location is in a nice calm quiet area! The teachers and Staff are always willing to help and go the extra mile for you.

In three sentences Midstate is a very good college. The teachers and staff are very helpful. That makes it very easy to go everyday and learn.

Academic Rigor The programs are very intense. Lots of memorization,clinicals,hands on experience. High accreditation ratings, students are ready for a carrear in their chosen field right after graduation.
Tips for prospective students If you are not sure what program you want to attend, ask the counselors. Find out what method of study works best for you. For example: are you a visual learner or audio. Do you learn best working with your hands?
In three sentences I would rate Mid-State Technical College as a 9 out of 10. I'm very happy with my school, the instructors are or have worked in the field they teach. They teach in a way that applies to all learning styles so there is a high success rate.

The advisers make sure you have every available access to achieve all academic requirements. I would highly recommend this college to upcoming high school seniors and anyone looking to go back to school at an affordable rate.
