Categories Comments Campus Safety Although the security team exercises authority, they spend most of their days driving around and surveillancing.
Greek Life I do not have any interest in joining Greek related groups.
Clubs and Activities I pay no attention to clubs.
Great for these types of students Information Technology professionals
Bang for the buck Now-a-days, used books can be cheap. MGTC does have a program for this. Those that buy a used book can not sell it back - they have to use media sources (internet) instead.
What to do for fun Hang out with classmates and study with them since they can provide you with assistance in case you can't get a hold of your instructors.
Food and Dining All students can purchase snacks, drinks, and food from the Bookstore and the Student Lounge.
Dorm Life This does not apply. There are no dorm rooms in MGTC.
Academic Rigor As much as I have learned, most instructors try to steer me the wrong way even if I needed help. Make sure you have found an instructor that you are the most comfortable with.
Tips for prospective students This college is more strict on academic standards for every student and it is tighter than it was when I first entered MGTC in 2002. If you are planning to apply, please make sure you stay on top of everything. According to not just the Financial Aid department but the whole college itself, every student past and present can not afford too many errors!
In three sentences A while back, I received a letter from MGTC stating that my academic status is probation with FA. Recently, changes were made since then to where now I am one of the many students who got robbed of my financial aid when I should have been on probation to begin with. Now I am seeking scholarships outside MGTC to try to cover me since I am on a low budget and that this is a desperate need.

Tips for prospective students Middle Ga Technical college is great for high school graduates who are not ready to leave home yet or older adults returning to college and have to keep working. Easy to follow programs.
In three sentences I give Middle Ga. Tech a rate of 8. I love the programs they offer, It's close to home, They prepare you for your field,but they need to work on communication between administration, financial aid and instructors.

Clubs and Activities Gospel Choir
Great for these types of students For the student who likes to stay ahead of the game, the computer and tutoring lab has great instructor's.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus Hanging out in the student center to relax in between class is a great location.
Bang for the buck To save money on food off campus, I suggest to always show your college ID. It will save you up to 20% on resturants in the area.
What to do for fun Im not from that area.

Tips for prospective students If you plan to attend MGTC or any other college, please make sure that you take this experience very seriously. Many students desire to have an higher education, but only a few make it through successfully. Plan your work and work your plan. In the end, you will be victorious!!
In three sentences I really enjoy attending MGTC. The staff is warm and friendly. They go out of their way to make sure your college experience is perfect.

In three sentences Middle Georgia Technical College provides a nice environment for learning. The staff are nice and friendly. This college provides much help for college student in their studies.

Categories Comments Campus Safety When you come in and out the campus be aware of people walking in the parking lot. There is no smoking of illegal substances on the school grounds.

Great for these types of students Those who want to keep a low-key profile.
Bang for the buck They have a great exercise room, it is like a mini workout place. Its great to go there also when you don't have anything else to do or to just blow off some steam.
What to do for fun Things to do for fun is to go to the student center where mostly all the students come to chill, lounge, talk with friends, read,do homework,or watch T.V. They have a t.v that you can watch any cable channel you want.
Food and Dining The bookstore items are really high, but they do have vending machines that may be suitable for you.
Dorm Life There is no dorm houses available.
Academic Rigor The academic rigor is good so far. The teachers are helpful and do as much as they can.
Tips for prospective students Tips for prospective students would be to complete homework on time and complete all your assignments by the due date. Also arrive to class on time 10 minutes after the hour counts as an absence. Make sure your financial aid covered to purchase books and supplies.
In three sentences There are friendly people. They have a nice library space. The classes aren't long.
