Many of the students that attend Middlesex or other community colleges are interested in betting themselves through their education, potentially earning credentials that will help further them in a particular profession or field. Yet many of these students also feel or are underprepared to go to a college because of past limited academic successes or support, limited time because they are working a job or have family obligations, or don't have the financial reserves in place to make the commitment to start a four year degree program. Whether this doesn't and especially if this does apply to you there are many resources available to you at the school that can help make your academic career at Middlesex (and potentially beyond) a very rewarding one. Meet with an advisor to help get you started on making and fulfilling your academic goals as well as other faculty at the college that can help you get access to other realms of support. Ask lots of questions! Use your words! Share your ideas, concerns, and wishes. Putting yourself out there will pay off even if not at first! read full review
