    Visiting the campus before you choose is a must so that you know if you could see yourself spending the next four years here at Millersville. There are so many clubs and organizations to get involved in, and make sure you do because that is where you will make the most friends!

    You only get as much out of school as you put into it. Make sure to spend a lot of time studying. Try studying in groups to share the burden and ease the pain. Although grades are important, make sure to actually learn. The more you retain from one semester the easier the following semester will be (e.g. Chem I - Chem II, Calc I - Calc II).

    Get used to the smell of cow manure, if it is not already familiar to you! After all, Lancaster is a lot of farmland, and that is (unfortunately) one of the only downsides to attending Millersville.

    Embrase the fact that you are making a life time investment that is well worth it. Not only should you study and work hard to be able to catch a desirable job but enjoy the social life as much as possible because social skills are needed everywhere you dont think of.
