    From what I've been told, Millersville University is the highest rated public school in PA. It is also one of the highest rated pubic teaching colleges in the country. For a public school, I think the education here is better than in some private schools.

    For a Biology major, at least, there are many opportunities to get to know professors and join academic clubs, which help students gain department scholarships and student research opportunities. The financial aid department is very helpful in getting scholarships.
