    -Consider what you are looking for in a university and how it pertains to your major. Millikin is not a large school, but it has a lot to offer. This is especially true for the College of Fine Arts and the education department. -Keep in touch with your adviser. He or she can be endlessly helpful. -Be prepared to work -Work study jobs are easy to come by.

    Always go to class because your grade can easily drop from an A to a D if you miss days from class. Take good notes because tests and quizzes are given in almost every class. Do the homework, it does count even if the professor just puts points in the grade book.

    You cannot be homophobic,, biphobic, transphobic, or any kind of phobia against the LGBTQ community, as Millikin has a very open and present LGBTQ community, deal with it. Look into living in the LLCs (Living Learning Communities), they are the best places to live! Try not to overload yourself on organizations, you will burn yourself out.
