Around Town

There is usually something going on on campus. For most shows and events students are given a free ticket. However, if you don't have a car, off campus fun is a bit difficult to come by.

The campus tries to have things to do for the students like The Valentines day party and Comedy Show or like Ice Skating, bowling, and bingo. Also, the parties are usually about a block away from campus.

They are many thing to do for fun. There are parties, plays, concerts,etc. Find things to do is fairly easy.

There are several on-campus clubs that host activities (mostly free). There are also movie theaters, restaurants, and shops in downtown Decatur and nearby Forsyth.

There's almost always something to do on-campus, there are lots of organizations that host events, and many are free for Millikin Students.

There is always events happening on campus. Last weekend there was an opera, this week there is an ice cream social and in two weeks it is family week. There is a calendar sent out to students stating what there is to do for fun in that month.

the campus provides TONS of weekly events. Take advantage- they are free and there isnt much else to do in Decatur.

There are tons of student organizations to get involved in.

There's always something to do! I never felt bored to tears on campus. The sky is the limit.

There are over a hundred student organization on campus, so pretty much everyone can find a way to get involved. Consider going Greek, you'll meet a lot of fun and outgoing people, and have plenty of parties and events to keep you busy. And here it is: there are parties. This is true for probably every college campus--if you look for the party scene, you'll find it. Even if you're not one to drink, pretty much everyone will be respectful of that, and you'll be able to have a good time anyway.
