    Start looking for outside scholarships early because you will most likely need them to help pay for your tuition and fees. Visit the campus, it's absolutely beautiful and you'll be able to get a feel for the type of community the school offers as well meet some of the current students there!

    In your first year, experiment with classes. Remember that there are general education requirements to be full-filled in addition to your intended major. Try something different--but all the while, try to think ahead with the type of classes you choose.

    Experiment with classes in other majors, Mills has a great anthropology and sociology departments, music and art. Mills is open for mix majors. Rigorous high quality education in an incredibly supportive environment.

    Students must be entirely sure that they can handle a single sex school. Though this offers a lot of security and safety, the amount of women on campus can become overwhelming. Also, the cafeteria is atop a large hill with food which does not make up for the climb.
