PAY ATTENTION AND STAY AHEAD!!! It's easy to float by in college, but all that does is waste your money. Pay attention, use the knowledge, and find work as often as you can, as early as you can. Community College doesn't place you at perfect jobs. It's up to you to make something of yourself. The college provides a great service at a super affordable cost. Just make sure to use it when you're finished!

Do your homework on the school that you will be attgending, like check out there diferent resources or perks for that college. Be prepared with documents for student services because you want to get everything done at the same time so that you can start on time.

Take advantage of the resources available to you. Professors usually do an excellent job of explaining things, but they are also very willing to help if you have questions. Other students can be helpful as well, as can advisors. This college's online programs are wonderful, at least in my experience. I did not live in Minneapolis while I was attending this school, so I took all of my classes online, and it really worked out much better than I was expecting. Online classes aren't for everyone, but I thought MCTC did an excellent job with their offerings.
