Right behind the Minneapolis Community and Technical College is Loring park where you can always go for a stroll with your friends. Or you can walk/hop on a city bus and head downtown to the watch shows, eat, and shop. You can also get on the light rail from downtown and head to the Mall of America.

By just being on campus there are so many random events going on a lot of the times. It just takes the stress level way down when you can go outside and see a random bounce machine or food.

There's always something going on, just like any other colleges/universities. If after, your first semester, are invited to join the Phi Beta Kappa (I believe), you should join it. It's good for your resume and it's good to be able to converse with other current students.
