I am indeed learning a lot! I found out that the things you hear about community colleges are not accurate. I love it at Minneapolis Community and Technical College! Yes, it is somewhat like a high school setting but i think that is a positive thing. The teachers are willing to give you personal help anytime you need it. They don't shrug you off and say I'm busy, they say what can i do to help and here is what you need to do. The classes are not any harder or easier than other colleges or university's. The Minneapolis Community and Technical college is a small, cozy college located on the outskirts of Downtown Minneapolis. It doesnt have dorms but it does have a great, newly renovated, Student Center where you can just hang out, study, buy snacks, and check in the the doctor FOR FREE! This is an affordable college, averaging at only $4,000 a semester, and if youre applying as a high school senior, you can always apply for the Power of You scholarship - which will cover your two year tuition.

MCTC is the best place to start out and makes the transition from high school to college easier. Its cheaper, has a great environment to learn in, with small class sizes and the greatest teaching styles. The community is amazing, accepting and open, I have never felt so happy to attend school in my life.
