The food isn't that great. I wouldn't suggest a meal plan unless you have to.

» Read MoreThe food at Mankato is very good! They try and keep their options new and exciting offering various entrees on the same day. They have everything from cereal and toast, to cuisines from all over the world. The staff made up of faculty and students are very welcoming as well.
» Read MoreI would say the dining is pretty well! I liked the cafeteria because it was new and had a variety of options of food to choose from. The hours were nice and convenient to go and eat at. There was a lot of space for students to eat at and there was two rooms which was nice. I overall think the cafeteria was a good experience.
» Read MoreThe food is pretty generic food. The rotating schedule provides just enough variety that you'll not be left in the dust if you decide to go with a full meal plan, but you'll probably want to bring your own food or go out and buy it at nearby shopping centers after a while.

» Read MoreI am a part of the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority on campus and ever since joining I've never felt more welcomed to the campus as I have from the Greek Community. Mankato is huge on absolutely NO HAZING. They take it very, very seriously and do their absolute best to make sure that all student wanting to go through recruitment are not hesitant to do so. For sororities there are 4 on campus: Alpha Sigma Alpha, Alpha Chi Omega, Gamma Phi Beta and Sigma Sigma Sigma. There are 9 fraternities on campus: Sigma Chi, Sigma Nu, Phi Delta Theta, Phi Kappa Theta, Phi Kappa Psi, Delta Chi, Tau Kappa Epsilon, Lambda Chi Alpha, and Brothers With a Purpose. The Greek community at Mankato is growing rapidly! It would be a fantastic way to immerse yourself within this group of future leaders.
