» Read MoreMissouri State has many things going on all year round. There is always a sporting event going on. Many concerts also come to MSU. MSU is in the town of Springfield MO which has over 150,000 people so there is always something going on. MSU also has a club called Student Activities Committee that plans weekly events like bowling, movies, and games.

Students can rent equipment or book trips for a weekend in the nature. Another place even closer by full of many attractions, like Silver Dollar City and music shows is the town of Branson just 50 miles away.

Downtown you have many options such as a theatre, shops, an arcade, nightclubs, and eateries.
