Categories Comments Campus Safety I've never experienced any problems as far as safety goes.
Greek Life There are no fraternities or sororities associated with MCC.
Clubs and Activities There are a lot of clubs on campus, so you're bound to find something you like.
Great for these types of students If you need some time to settle on your future plans, this is a great place to get into the whole college thing. The college has a good transfer program set up with most schools in the state, with a few exceptions.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus There's a barn theater located on campus, as well as Heritage Village.
Bang for the buck It's a lot less expensive than attending a four-year college, so this is a great place to start off your college career if you're looking to save some money.
What to do for fun The campus has a swimming pool, a theater, a gym, a place to work out, some sports courts and some nature trails. There's also wifi in every building and a computer lab so you can also just relax on the internet.
Food and Dining There's a Subway right on campus and some vending machines around, so there isn't any real NEED to leave. However, if you seek variety then you'll have to go off campus for it.
Dorm Life There are no dorms.
Academic Rigor It mostly depends on the class. Some instructors are going to take it easy, while others know what a college student is capable of, so they're going to expect it.
Tips for prospective students This isn't the same as a traditional four-year college, so don't expect it to be that way. Remember, a lot of the people are in the same situation as yourself, no matter what it may be.
In three sentences MCC is a good place for someone to start who isn't sure about what they want to do. The students are from mixed backgrounds, ranging from high-schoolers to middle-aged parents. The staff members are generally helpful and insightful.

Categories Comments What to do for fun This college is located in the small town of Sidney, where everybody knows everybody and their families. The college offers a lot of clubs, mostly sports, and groups, which is a great way to bring everyone together in a positive way.
Food and Dining On campus we have a Subway and across the street we have a small diner where we can receive community stamps. These stamps can be used as extra credit in some classes.
Dorm Life At this community college we do not have dorms.
Academic Rigor I find the curriculum to be a challenge for me as an individual and learning the material is something that doesnt come with little effort. I have to spend a lot of my own time outside of school studying, but with the help of the teachers it is not overwhelming.
Tips for prospective students One tip that I would give to prospective students is to not enter college thinking that it is going to be just like high school because it is not. You must stay organized and self disciplined to be successful. Keep up on your studies because cramming is not an efficient way to pass tests.
In three sentences My Intro to Anatomy and Phisiology teacher has made my college experience a positive one. With study tips and the education of her students truly at heart, the transiton from my work life to college life has been a positive and learning experience. I am eager to get to meet other teachers on campus that truly care about their students education.

Categories Comments Campus Safety This is a small college in a small town, I feel very safe walking around campus.
Clubs and Activities I personally do not join the clubs or activities, due to me not having enough time. There are many clubs and activities though.
Great for these types of students MCC is a great college for older people that are working or have children at home. There are students of all ages at MCC and they all seem to enjoy it.
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus MCC as a forest trail where students can bring their family's or go for a walk with friends. It is very peaceful walking out in the woods. There is also some historical buildings on our campus. We call this the heritage village.
Bang for the buck This school is very affordable compared to many other colleges, especially university's. If you want to join the nursing program, this school is best place to do it.
What to do for fun I personally do not do anything at the college for fun. However, they do have a pool and gym free for students.
Food and Dining The only food they provide at MCC is subway or vending mashing food.
Dorm Life MCC does not provide dorms but there are apartment's around Montcalm area.
Academic Rigor I can be very difficult but the challenges will make you a better student and employee.
Tips for prospective students The most important advice I can give is to not give up on your dream. Going to this school or any college, is going to be difficult. Giving 110% to this school for a couple years will be well worth your time.

Categories Comments What to do for fun There is not a lot to do, a few random clubs like Video Game and Math clubs, but not much else.
Food and Dining There are only a few places to eat around MCC: Subway, a couple pizza places, and McDonalds, it is a lot better to just bring your own food.
Dorm Life There is no dorm at MCC.
Academic Rigor It depends on the class you are taking, some of them provide you will a lot more learning than other classes.
Tips for prospective students Make sure you get on campus early for classes, because the parking lot(s) can fill up really fast, and you would have to walk a long ways to your classroom. Try to be friendly with students around you, because they can be very helpful if you miss a day if you are sick.
In three sentences Montcalm Community College is a very easy to get into college, that has some general classes that might be helpful for you. It is a good place to start college because it is cheap, and the classes transfer easily. It also has a great cadaver lab for those interested in science/medical field.
