Am learning a lot
When I transferred here from my old university, I noticed that the professors were dedicated in teaching their students I learned so much and even understood the subjects that I usually struggled in.
Am enjoying being here
Its a community college with so much to offer, from engaging classes to a good number of clubs and organizations on campus.
Tips for prospective students
Don't be ashamed to start here. The staff will help you to prepare you for when you decide to transfer and they provide you with many kinds of opportunities with their alliances with various Maryland universities.

Am learning a lot
Currently, I'm majoring in Gaming & Simulation (specifically the Art and Animation Track.) I'm also in the Montgomery Scholars Program (which is fantastic). We have great professors for our Scholar classes (which include World History, World Literature, Philosophy, and World Music).
Am enjoying being here
Montgomery College, especially the Scholars Program, is a great learning community. There are many different clubs and events.
Bang for the buck
Montgomery College is very affordable (~$2000 a semester depending on how many credits you take).
Tips for prospective students
Apply to the Montgomery Scholars Program! You will learn so much and have fun at the same time (along with a scholarship covering 15 credits a semester and (pending funding) a summer abroad in Cambridge).
Great for these types of students

In three sentences
montgomery college is an affordable, conveniently located, and diverse campus in which a student can gain the best experience and knowledge they need to succeed.
Tips for prospective students
i would advise prospective students to apply for fafsa as soon as possible. the earliest your application is reviewed, you will truly notice the financial differences. students should as i call it take full advantage of your professors and campus resources. if a professor offers for you to email a rough draft of any assignment for comments and feedback-take it! become familiar with the science and math centers, it will make a big difference for your grade.
Academic Rigor
montgomery college is a very rigorous college. students are pushed and encouraged to achieve their absolute best and learn to reach their highest potential.
Dorm Life
there are no dorms here.
Food and Dining
food and dining at the mc cafe is delicious. the rockville campus offers a jerry's subs and pizza, and i would recommend the cheese steak. also offered is a store that offers deli sandwiches and coffee.
What to do for fun
for fun, students can enjoy the black box theatre offered at the takoma park campus, where they can watch live performances from students who attend the school. students can also visit the cultural arts center located at the takoma park campus.
Bang for the buck
the campus offers free transportation for students in need of assistance, the use of the library is free
Share any unusual traditions or locations on campus
i do not know of any unusual traditions nor locations on campus, i can only say that it is sometimes easy to miss a corridor depending on what campus you attend because there are so many classrooms.
Great for these types of students
the campus is great students who are looking for an affordable school to further their education, and for students who want to further their education but are not sure what career choice to pursue.
Clubs and Activities
montgomery college offers clubs in all three campuses ranging from the bio tech club to the veterans club. there is a club for every student, if there is a club that is not offered, students are encouraged to create one.
Greek Life
unfortunately there are no sororities and fraternities at this campus but the students in student life find ways to put together fun activities for students to become involved in during the years that they attend.
Campus Safety
the overall campus is safe, but with any campus students are encouraged to stay alert, because danger can come from any area.
