» Read MoreMC3 to me personally feels more like the 13th year of high-school more than it does as an institution for higher learning; but this isn't necessarily a bad thing. For me, I applied to MC3 with the sole purpose of being able to get my general education requirements out of the way and have some time to prepare my art portfolio for prospective schools and be able to receive critical feedback that's not limited to national portfolio day. MC3's Arts Center to me personally isn't equipped with the necessary tools to graduate out of the program, as most students transfer out to the larger art colleges around the greater Philadelphia region. The benefit of the courses I'm taking now is that they are able to transfer credits to some of the schools I have looked at in the past, so I'm paying less for the same classes that are offered at some of the more expensive art schools that cost quadruple the amount it costs to attend.
